Independent Financial Advice covering Berkshire, Bucks, Surrey, the Thames Valley, and the Surrounding areas. We are based in Maidenhead but cover a wide geographical area. We specialise in providing advice for customers approaching, or at, retirement, and also those who have already retired. We have considerable experience in providing advice to clients in later life, and we increasingly are helping clients with care home fees advice. John Ashworth is an accredited Member of the Society of Later Life Advisers.

Who are we?
The firm has been giving independent advice since 1958. We are a privately owned company and attach great importance to maintaining high standards of service.
John Ashworth (Director), holds a B.Sc. (Hons) degree in Economics.
He has passed the Advanced Financial Planning Qualification, as well as being an accredited Member of the Society of Later Life Advisers. The following are some of the exams passed:

● CF2 Investment and Risk
● CF6 Mortgage Advice
● HR1 Home Reversion Plans
● CF7 Lifetime Mortgage Activities (Equity Release products)

John Ashworth also holds the Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice (CII), and is a member of the Society of Mortgage Professionals.
The above qualifications enable us to give very good quality advice in the areas of long term care, equity release, investments, pension planning, investments, and mortgages.
